What is a Board Room?

The board room is the space which is used for top-level meetings. It can hold up to 48 people (24 can be in the table and 24 seated around the perimeter of the walls). This room reflects K-State Olathe’s effort to respond to industry needs for executive conference space for training, research and training. So, the space’s design should be flexible and capable of adapting to its usage. The room should also include the latest technology to facilitate the most productive meetings that are possible. A boardroom needs to be equipped with an enormous screen that can accommodate all attendees. It should also have a projector to display whiteboards and presentations to facilitate discussions.
